Western Grebe

Adult (breeding): Yellow bill, black head, and clean strip down the back of the neck. Dusky dark grey face that COVERS a red eye. White cheek, neck and chest. Dark greyish back, belly and underparts.

Adult (non-breeding):(shown below) Darker (than non-breeding) yellow bill, black head, and clean strip down the back of the neck. Darker greyish on grey face than non-breeding that COVERS a red eye. White cheek, neck and chest. Dark greyish back, belly and underparts.
