Ruddy Duck

Adult Male Breeding: Dark cinnimon brown overall. Black cap extending down the back fo the neck, white cheek and long flat bright blue bill.

Adult Male non-breeding: Grey overall. Black cap, white cheek and long flat blue'ish grey bill.

Adult Female:(shown below) Brown overall with a large head. Dark brown to black cap, whitish cheek with a dark line across the face through the cheek. Back is darker brown than body. Large flattened grey bill. This unique female has a long tail that if oftne raised out fo the water.
