Red-breasted Sapsucker

Adult: (shown below) Vibrant red head with small amounts of white at base of bill and around the eye. Dirty brownish underparts, black and white back and wings. Most have a large white wing patch visible when perched.

Juvenile: Dark brown head and light chest and underparts. Black back and wings with little white. Large white wingpatch.
