Pied Billed Grebe

Adult non-breeding: Dark face and head with pale brown colores on cheek. Short stout pinkish bill. Dark back with lighter brown neck, chest, and underparts.

Adult breeding: Dark face, cap, and throat. Palegrey on cheek. Large black eye with pale white eyering. Whitish short stout bill with dark ring around it close to tip. Dark back with lighter brown neck, chest, and underparts.

Juvenile: Dark face and head with light colored stripes down cheek. Short stout light colored bill. Dark back with lighter brown neck, chest, and underparts.
