Osprey

Adult: (shown below) Mostly white head with a dark forehead cap and eyeline. Dark back of neck and back. White neck and underparts with a small amount of dark spotting on upper chest. Brown body and wings. Long dark tail wings. Grey feet. Very obvious dark cape is visible when perched.

Juvenile: Almost identical to the adult except for a small amount of light buffy coloration on chest and head.

These are Osprey nests near LaGrange, CA Tullock Lake area. The same couple comes back to their nest every year for breeding.

Every year they add on to their nests so they get bigger and bigger every year.

This nest is located on an island off of Bahia de Los Angeles, Baha, Mexico.
