Magnificent Frigatebird

Adult Male: (shown below) Overall dark colors with a lighter colored long bill in which the tip is hooked. Long forked tail in which it is sometimes hard to see the fork. Males sometimes have a large red pouch underneath the bill.

Adult Female: (shown below) Overall dark colors with a lighter colored long bill in which the tip is hooked. The female has a white chest shaped like a shield. Long forked tail in which it is sometimes hard to see the fork.

Juvenile: (shown below) Overall dark colors. White head, face, and neck leading down to a diamond pattern on the chest. Long forked tail in which it is sometimes hard to see the fork.
