Common Merganser

Adult nonbreeding: (shown below) brown'ish head with shaggy crest down the back of the neck. Brown'sh also follows neck down to chest. Chest and belly are a dirty white color. White spots on face, orang'ish bill, and grey'ish back. Light colored/yellow'ish eyes. Orange feet and legs.

Adult Breeding Male: (shown below) Green head (NO CREST), orange bill, white neck, chest, and belly. Grey, black and white back.
