American Wigeon
Male Breeding: (shown below) Drab brown overall with a white or buffy forehead, top of hte head, cheeck, and extending down the neck. Black and green ont eh rest of the head and face. Usually bright white under wing covert showing, bright white hip patch. Black wing tips, tail and rump. Small grey bill with a black tip.
Female:(shown below) Drab brown overall. Head and neck are darker brown than body with a black eye spot. Wings have a unique black and buffy pattern. Small grey bill with a black tip.
Juvenile: Looks like a female
