American Kestrel

Male: (shown below) Smalles and most colorful falcon. Blueish grey, orange, black, and white marking on face and head. Orange back with black bars, Blue/grey wings, pale belly with black stops. Long orange tail with black tip. Always bobs tail when perched.

Female:(shown below; first photo only) Blueish grey, orange, black, and white marking on face and head. Brown buffy back and tail. Pale white bleey with brown stripes.n Always bobs tail when perched.

Juvenile: Male and female resemble their respected adults as described above.
